How It Works

Read to learn more about the Middle School of Science and Technology Online.

After enrolling in the Middle School of Science and Technology Online, each student will begin with the Year 1 curriculum, which serves as a foundation for later coursework. By Year 3, students will complete an applied research project that they can add to their portfolios. Students are assigned 4 courses each quarter, for a total of 16 courses each year. By the end of Year 3, students will have completed 48 courses that cover core subjects, including English, history, science, and math, as well as courses that go beyond the typical middle school such as web design, artificial intelligence, and media literacy.

Courses are self-paced and accessible through Google classroom using the student's assigned MSST Gmail account.
No textbooks or additional materials are required and there are no expenses beyond tuition.
Web-based support is available from 8 AM - 8 PM EST Monday to Friday.
