Our Instructors
The courses at the Middle School of Science and Technology (MSST) are designed and administered by field experts. All instructors are required to hold a minimum of a Master's degree.

Cheryl R. Mazzeo, MS, MST, PSM

The Middle School curriculum was written by Cheryl R. Mazzeo, MS, MST, PSM, who holds graduate degrees in biomedical science, science education, and bioinformatics. She is currently pursuing her doctorate in public health education and is all-but-dissertation for a doctorate in psychology. Through her experiences working at New York City area academic medical centers including Rutgers Cancer Institute, Weill Cornell Medicine, and Albert Einstein College of Medicine, she has had the opportunity to lead laboratory and research operations. Further, as an experienced science teacher, Cheryl designed the MSST curriculum to help students with an interest in science and technology develop academic skills that will ease their entry into these fields. Cheryl currently serves as Head of School and Lead Instructor.
